With this series, I wanted to not only define what a safe space is for me based on my personal experiences, but also to remind others that these spaces exist (and in different contexts). I explored different forms of comfort, with a primary focus on communal spaces I personally associate with escapism and label as my sanctuaries, with an overarching theme of gentle comfort and home found in togetherness.
